Situation Tense in Bulgaria TROOPS STANDING BY Earlier Resignation of Four Ministers By Telegraph. —Press Assn. —Copyright. (Received April 19, 11.5 p.m.) Sofia, April 19. General Zla lev’s Cabinet has resigned as a sequel to the earlier resignation of four Ministers as a protest against the authorities’ action . in arresting several prominent people, including the ex-Premiers, JI. Tsankoff and M. Gheorgleff. who are being interned on the lonely island of St. Anastasia, where there is only a lighthouse, JI. Tsankoff and various associates will be interned because they have not dissolved their party, called the Social Popular Movement, thereby violating a decree issued last year. JI. Gheorgleff and others were arrested for publishing allegations against General Zlatev and other prominent people. It is expected that a. military Cabinet will be installed as the Army. Officers’ League is at present prominent in politics. The situation is tense and troops are standing by in the event of emergencies.
