ST. JOHN AMBULANCE
Five-year Certificates Certificates for five years’ efficient service in the St. John Ambulance Brigade Overseas have been issued to the following members in the Wellington district: —-Petone Ambulance Division: Div. Superintendent Archibald Black, Sergeant James May, Claude Smith. Lower Hutt Nursing Division: Ambulance Sister N. Powles. The following appointments have been approved by the chief commissioner for the Dominion: —-Blenheim Ambulance Division: Albert J. Kerry to be divisional storekeeper and corporal. Bt. I’aul’s Cadet Nursing Division: Mrs. M. Wilson to be lady cadet superintendent. Wellington Suburban No, 2 Cadet Nursing Division: Miss Joyce M. Whittaker to be lady cadet officer. Wellington East No. 2 Cadet Ambulance Division: Horace G. L. Turner, to be endet superintendent. Cadet proficiency badges have been issued to the following cadets who have passed in the subjects mentioned : — Brooklyn Cadet Nursing Division: Phyllis Hodge, hygiene, home nursing, child welfare, public service; Edna Knight, home nursing, swimming, child welfare, public service. Wellington Cadet Nursing Division: Mary Aylett and Teresa Edwards, home nursing, fire fighting, physical exercises, swimming. , Wellington Suburban No. 2 Cadet Nursing Division: Myra Atkinson and Lorna Norman, child welfare, home nursing, fire fighting, public service; Dorothv De Cent and Edna Harker, home nursing, child welfare, fire fighting, s w i m min g.
