TIN HAT CLUB

A korero of the Tin Hat Club, the social organisation connected with the Wellington Returned Soldiers’ Association, was so well attended last night that the hall where the gatherings are held was entirelv filled. Colonel C. Weston, the chairman and speaker, dealt with the Falkland Islands in the course of a short lecture. A musical programme entertained members for the greater part of the evening. Several items were contributed by tlie club's orchestra and a number of selections by tlie U.S.A. Choir. Community singing was led by Mr. J. Rogers. Songs were contributed by Messrs.. I. Bohlson and W. Marshall, and a violin solo by Mr. L. Walker.
