HOMING PIGEONS
Tire Hiiti Valley Homing Club flew a young bird .ace from Tailiape recently, a distance of 115 miles. Twelve members with 68 birds competed, the esults being as follow : A Barnes’s'“Starlight,” velocity 1.153.7 yards a minute, 1; A. Bold and Sons’ bird, velocity 1111.1 yards a minute. 2; 11 Reid and Son’s "Master Pam." velocity 1110 4 yards a minute, 3; G.. Woodward'* War Bob.” velocity 1107.9 yards a minute. 4; R. Clark and Son’s bird, velocity 1079.4 yards a minute. 5; D Andrews's ‘Black Sea," velocity 1075.8 yards a minute. 6; C Philp’s “Comedy King, velocity 1063.5 yards a minute, 7; J. Da lien ger’s “Red Sun,’ velocity IODi-b yards n minute. 8; E. MeMnhon »n<l Son s “Geebung, velocity 10o(>.2 yards a minule. 9: W Bond’s "Rear Admiral.'' velocity 1053.3 yards a minute, 10: .1 Hardgrave’s “Baby.” velocity 1040.1 yards a minute, 11. . . , A Bold and Son won the nominated bird pool The result of show was R.
