THANKS OF THE CITY
“The building is an outstanding example of modern architecture,” said the Mayor, Mr. T. C. A. Hislop, at the opening ceremony of the Prudential building yesterday. “On behalf of the city I want to thank the company for commencing operations at a time when many people were hesitant in investing in buildings.“The company has assisted materially in the relief of unemployment in Wellington.”
