Lloyd George to Furnish Details to Cabinet Official Wireless.) (Received March 14, 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, March 13. The memorandum containing the scheme for tackling the unemployment question in Britain, which Mr. Lloyd George has been invited to submit to Cabinet, is nearly complete and is expected to lie in tlie hands of Ministers at. tlie end of the week. It is understood that the memorandum will probably be made public iu due course after the Government has had an opportunity to express an opinion on ils proposals. A later Press Association cable states that Mr. Lloyd George is sending details of his “New Deal” plan to Mr. MacDonald during the week-end.
