PLAY WRITING
Wellington Man’s Success Dominion Special Service. Masterton, February 18. Entries were received from all parts of tfie Dominion for a play-writing competition, instituted by the Masterton branch of the British Drama League. The judging has now.-been completed ,l)y Mr. H. B. Tomlinson, principal of the Wairarapa High School, and criticisms have been 'sent to all the competitors. ' The first award went to E. Bradwell, of Wellington, for a play entitled “Zero Hour,”'. while a work entitled “A Prophetess,” by Mrs. B. Anderson, of Lower Hutt, secured the second aav a rd.
