Wellington’s Fine Sunday The weather was overcast, and there were a few very light showers at Wellington on Saturday morning, but as the day advanced conditions improved and the late afternoon and evening were fine. Brilliantly fine weather prevailed throughout Sunday. A cool south-easterly wind was blowing, but on Sunday it gradually moderated. Moderate easterly winds and overcast, threatening weather prevailed during the week-end at Auckland, light showers being experienced on Saturday evening. The barometer has been rising since Saturday morning and registered 30.05 in. on Sunday. The weather at Christchurch on Saturday was fine, with a cool south-west' wind. Sunday was sunny and warm, with an easterly wind. The barometer was steady at 30.15 in. Overcast and threatening weather prevailed on Saturday morning in Dunedin, but the afternoon was sunny and pleasant. A moderate south-west wind was blowing and the maximum temperature was 60 degrees. The weather yesterday was fine and sunny. There was a light south-westerly breeze in the afternoon. The barometer has a falling tendency.
