Deficiency of £l2BO Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North. February 16. A deficiency of £l2BO/8/6 was shown in the bankrupt estate of George Henry Adams, company manager, formerly of Palmerston North and now of Whangarei, at the meeting of his creditors and the deputy official assignee, Mr. C. E. Dempsey. Debts owing to secured creditors were shown as £23/7/-. The amount owing to unsecured creditors was £2651/1/6, less the estimated value of securities shown as £l4OO. In his sworn statement bankrupt stated that his insolvency was almost entirely due to the failure of the firm of Midland Motors, Ltd., brought about by the depression. The meeting was adjourned sine die.
