HOSPITAL BOARD

Pohangina’s Complaint ’ Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, February 16. It is understood that the ' Pohangina County Council is to maintain its representation on the Palmerston North Hospital Board and not be amalgamated with the Kiwitea County Council as suggested in a letter received at last week’s meeting of the council. The Pohangina County Council was advised last week that it was to lose its representative on the Palmerston North Hospital Board, and that the Palmerston North city representation was to be increased from four to five members. The county entered an emphatic protest against amalgamation with the Kiwitea County Council for hospital board representation.
