CADET BARRACKS

The Rongotai College cadet unit will hold its annual barracks from to-day until February 22. Major E. M. Christie will be in command, with Captain R. Edwards as adjutant. Three complete sections of Coast Defence Artillery will parade at Fort Dorset under Lieutenant Lambourne to undergo training in rangefinding, signalling, and big-gun drill. The area office has supplied a full quota of instructors for infantry work, such as section and platoon drill, visual training, etc. Bathing parades at Lyall Bay will be part of the programme.
