London Butter Market Quiet CHEESE PRICES STEADY The Loudon butter market closed quiet on Friday, New Zealand salted being quoted at 88/- to 90/-, after touching 93/at the beginning of the week. The quantity of New Zealand butter m store in London at the end of the week was 5325 tons, compared with 6300 tons a year ago. Deliveries during the week were 2182 tons-, compared with 2927 tons for the previous week. Australian butter in store in London totals 3745 tons, compared with 7550 tons a year ago. Australian deliveries last week were 3068 tons, as against 2427 tons for the previous ' V< The Dairy Board’s London reports that butter shipments to New York during the previous week were 22,600 Last week estimate approximately 10,000 boxes, although no sales, reported—probably carry-over of previous week’s sales. . The Dairy Board has fixed the minimum prices for f.o.b. and c.i.f. sales from February 16 on the basis of IOJd. for butter and 5 3-Bd. for cheese, subject to agents’ selling commission of li per cent. These prices are equivalent to 83/6 a cwt. c.i.f.e. for butter and 46/10 c.i.f.e. for cheese. Agents’ Reports Mr. Thomas Gray has received the following cable from Mr. A. C.
