“HOMEWOOD” GARDEN PARTY

Mr. and Mrs. B. Sutherland have again offered the beautiful grounds of Homewood” for a garden party on Tuesday, February 19. On this occasion the party will be in aid of the funds of the Anglican orphanages. It should be most enjoyable as it will continue ii the evening until 10 o'clock, and “Homewood,” brilliantly illuminated, is perhaps even more attractive at night. The official opening, which will be performed by their Excellencies the Governor-General and Lady Bledisloe, will be in the afternoon at three o’clock. There will be stalls, tea, games, etc. Gifts of produce, cakes, sweets, will be gratefully received before Tuesday, February 19, at Bishopscourt, and on the day at the grounds, Karori.
