■ 11 1 4 Black Goes Round in 68 Remarkable golf was witnessed on the Hutt club’s course yesterday afternoon when J. L. Black, playing in a fourball match, broke his own course record of 70 with two to spare. The card was as follows: — First nine: 444345444 —36. Last nine: 344333345—32. Black did the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth—all holes of more-than 400 yards—in threes. The fifteenth hole is one of 500 yards. The former record of 70 was set up bj’ Black three years ago. Yesterday the fairways were fast, and hard, while the greens were in good condition.
