BATTLE ON SKIS Police Arrest Socialists London, February 12. The “News-Chronicle's” Vienna correspondent tells of a battle on skis between police and Socialists. The latter attempted a demonstration on the eve of February 12, the anniversary of last year’s rising. The Socialists assembled in the snowcovered Wienerwald forest on the outskirts of Vienna, which the police surrounded, closing in on the demonstrators and arresting 120. Similar arrests, numbering 160, occurred at Leopoldsberg.
