"BUYERS of ewes at£ reminded that Raetihi Ewe Fair is being held on Thursday next, when about 10,000 will be yarded. Raetihi ewes are wonderful doers on letter country. , Usually local buyers are unable ter secure these good ewes owing to operations of Waikato buyers, whose limits are usually higher. This year Waikato competition may not be so strong, owing to their dry season; indications are that way. If so, local buyers will be able to buy the best ewes reasonably. Any client in the Rangitikei, Manawatu and Wanganui districts wishing to buy ewes simply cannot afford to miss this Sale. Why buy ewes off good country when you can get in perhaps more cheaply on well-bred ewes off hard country. Next year there will be no comparison between them. Any Loan and Mercantile Agent will arrange transport for you if you give him a ring. N.Z. LOAN AND MERCANTILE AGENCY CO.. LTD., Wanganui and Agencies. A 509 RAETIHI ANNUAL EWE FAIR.
