Jury’s Rider on Need For Sterilisation By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland. February 12. In finding Robert Richard Anstice. aged 49, single, guilty of indecently assaulting a six-year-old girl who was bathing on the beach at Devonport, a jury at the Supreme Court to-day added a rider that legislation should be introduced to provide for the sterilisation of guilty parties in cases of indecent assault upon little girls. In intimating that, the recommendation would be forwarded to the proper authorities. His Honour said You might be interested to know-that this man has been previously convicted. Sentence was deferred.
