Institute C, Newtown Park No. 3, 9 a.m. A Wellington Harbour Board cricket team visited Levin during the week-end, and played a Weraroa eleven, the home side winning by 4 runs on the first innings. Weraroa scored 165, to which Harbour Board replied with 161. Best scores for Weraroa were : Sutherland 54, Wright 50, Hudson 14. Bowling for Weraroa, Hudson took four for 49 and Mellor two for 41. For Harbour Board, K. McDonald scored 71. C. Myers 24, A. Morris 14, L. Dwan 12. Bowling for Harbour Board, 0. Myers took four for 24, S. Cutts three for 25, and J. Gifford two for 19. This was the second match played; both sides have now a win to their credit.
