DAMAGES FOR CYCLIST
Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, February 11. In the Supreme Court Henry Morris, labourer, of Newman, was awarded £lOOO general damages and £4l/18/- special damages against Mrs. K. A. Johnston, school teacher, of Eketahuna, The claim was for £l5OO general damages. The claim was the sequel to a collision between, plaintiff’s bicycle and defendant’s motor-car nt Newman on June. 4 of last year. Plaintiff had his left wrist and back seriously injured.
