A CTING on the powers contained in •AL ’ the Wellington City Consolidated By-law No. 1, 1933, on the twenty-fourth day of January, 1935, the Wellington Citv Council resolved to prohibit the use of "water for any one or more of the purposes deemed to be an extraordinary supply. I therefore give notice that on and after the first publication of this notice the use of water for ornamental purposes such as fountains, ponds, or the like; and for watering gardens by means of a hose or other removable pipe is absolutely prohibited until further notice of the rescission of such resolution. This prohibition applies to all installations whether a water-meter is fixed or not, and non-com-pliance with the notice will be followed by prosecution whenever it is detected.
