Vice-Regal. His Excellency the Governor-Generai, Lord Bledisloe, and Lady Bledisloe will return to Wellington by the Limited express this morning after visiting the Tongariro River, where his Excellency spent several days fishing, and from Rotorua, where they paid their final visit yesterday. This evening his Excellency will leave for Christchurch, where on Monday evening he will bid official farewell to the Duke of Gloucester on the completion of his Royal Highness’s tour through New Zealand. Lord Bledisloe will return to Wellington on Tuesday morning. Ministerial. The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, accompanied by his chief private secretary, Mr. C. A. Jeffery, left Wellington last evening for Christchurch, where he will take part, in the official farewell to his Royal Highness the Duke of Gloucester. Mr. Forbes will return to the capital next Wednesday morning. The following day he will leave for the Taupo and Rotorua districts, where lie will inspect the Maori land development schemes. The East Coast tour will occupy about a week. The Rt. Hou. J. G. Coates, Minister of Finance, who lias been in Dunedin and Christchurch during this week conferring with representative business men in respect of mortgage finance, will return to Wellington to-morrow morning. On Tuesday evening the Minister will leave for North Auckland. The Hon. J. A. Young, Minister of Internal Affairs and Health, who has been Minister-in-attendance on the Duke of Gloucester throughout the Royal tour of the Dominion, will return to Wellington on Tuesday morning. The Hon. Adam Hamilton, Postmas-ter-General, left Wellington last evening for Rotorua and Auckland. Major-General Sir W. L. 11. Sinclair Burgess, General Officer Commanding the New Zealand Military Forces, left Wellington last evening for the south. Sir George Elliot and Mr. Oliver Nicholson, directors of the Bank of New Zealand, left. Wellington last evening for the north. Wing Commander T. M. Wilkes, Director of Air Services, returned to Wellington yesterday from the South Island. Dr. S. R. Cattell lias returned to Wellington from the South Island. Dr. E. W. Giesen has left Wellington for the south. Mr. W. Catbro, Sydney, -who has been visiting Wellington, was a passenger last evening for the north. Mr. 11. F. Vickery, who has been visiting the South Island, has returned to Wellington. Mr. H. Speight arrived at Wellington yesterday morning from Dunedin, and 'left for the south in the evening. Mr. R. Hudson, Dunedin, a director of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, is visiting Wellington. Mr. M. Myers, Dunedin, was a passenger from "the south yesterday morning.

Mr. 11. C. McCoy, of New Zealand Breweries, Ltd., Auckland, left Wellington for the north last evening. Mr. A. E. Cooper, Christchurch, who has been visiting Wellington, lias returned from the south. Mr. E. M. Mosley, a nephew of Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., has been appointed a marshal of the Supreme Court at Auckland in respect of its jurisdiction as a colonial Court of Admiralty. Mr. I’. B. Milling, who left New Zealand last year to take a course of oil geology at London University, will leave Britain for Persia next week to take up an appointment with the AngloPersian Oil Company.

Lieutenant-Commissioner F. 11. Adams, territorial commander of the Salvation Army in New Zealand, will visit Dannevirke, Hastings and Napier to-morrow, in the course of his tour of welcome of the Dominion, lie will be at Gisborne on Monday and Opotiki on Tuesday.

Mr. D. S. Aarons has been promoted general manager o£ the New South Wales branch of the Vacuum Oil Company Proprietary, Ltd. Mr. Aarons has had'32 years’ service with the company, and for the last two and a half years has been assistant general manager in New South Wales. Mr. J. D. Rogers, who was for many years an officer of the New South Wales branch, and who subsequently acted as assistant general manager in Western Australia for live years, has been promoted assistant general manager of the New South Wales branch.
