Motor-cyclist Injured By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hamilton, January 15. Painful injuries were received by a motor-cyclist, M. S. Stott, aged 20, when he was knocked down by a motorcar and dragged some distance in Grey Street, Hamilton East, last evening. The car continued on, and the identity of the driver is unknown. A later message states that, following inquiries by the police, it has been ascertained that the car which knocked down and injured a motor-cyclist named Stott in Hamilton East last night was one which was stolen from Hamilton that evening. The car was located abandoned at Cambridge this morning The windscreen was smashed, and splashes of blood inside the car indicated that the driver had been cut by shattered glass. No arrest has yet been made.
