APPOINTMENTS BY STATE
Positions in Dominion
The following appointments by the Government have been gazetted:— Miss Mary Beatrice Beswtck, officer of the Health Department, as an inspector of dangerous drugs. Mr. Eric Molyneux Mosley, as marshal of the Supreme Court at Auckland in respect of its jurisdiction as a Colonial Court of Admiralty. Messrs. Walter Payne, of Blenheim, farmer, and Richard Wanden, an accountant, to be members of the Blenheim Assessment Court.
Mr. Walter Watson, to be a representative of producers on the New Zealand Honey Control Board for two years.
Mr. Norton Francis, C.M.G. and Mr. Henry Bisdee Stucky, to be members of the Massey Agricultural College Council for four years. Mr. Charles Earnshaw White, of the Public Trust Office, Wellington, to be Deputy District Public Trustee at Nelson.
Messrs. George Rowlaud Hutchinson and Leslie R. C. Macfarlane, to be members of the New Zealand Broadcasting Board up to March 31, 1935. Members of licensing committees have been appointed as follow:—Mr. J. 11. Salmon, S.M. (Manawatn and Otaki) ; Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M. (Pahiatua) ; Mr. R. M. Watson, S.M. (Waimarino) ; Mr. A. E. Bedford (Napier) Mr. J. H. S. Perrett (Manawatu) ; Mr. R. A. Cruickshank (Awarua).
