OBITUARY

Mr. Louis J. Frank The death lias occurred of Mr. Louis J. Frank, J.P.. prominent in business circles as d director of Buxton and Co., Ltd., and well known throughout? New Zealand, states a Press Association .message from Nelson. He was with Buxtons for fiftyfive years, thirty-seven as a director. He was a Past Chief Ranger of the Foresters, and took a leading part in horticultural matters. Mr. Peter Graham The death has occurred of Mr. Peter Graham, aged 77, a well-known building contractor, states a Press Association message from Christchurch. He was a native of Dumbartonshire, and was in business first in Melbourne and then in Christchurch. His firm erected many city buildings. Mr. Graham was president of the Canterbury Builders’ and Contractors’ Association for various periods and one of the original riiembers of the New Zealand Builders’ Association. His son, Mr. J. W. Graham, is the present head of the firm.
