Acknowledgments From Free Ambulance
“This is a very pleasing item,” said Mr. D. J. McGowan, eliairinan of the Wellington Free Ambulance Board, at yesterday's meeting, when referring to a donation of £l6 from the combinejj relief camps at Paraparaumu, the amount having been raised by a benefit effort. A special vote of tliqnks was passed to those responsible. Special thanks were also expressed for £1 lloin the scholars of Koropiko Private School, Ngaio, and of 10/- whjcli had been raised by means of a “penny concert” by the Randwick School children.
