Appeal Against Lower Court Verdict
Au appeal from a judgment by Mr. E. Page, S.M.. iu August last, in which damages were to George Millward. seaman, of Wellington, who. in a claim against John Murdoch Miller, health specialist, Wellington, had alleged that treatment by the application of acetic acid and liot fomentations for constipation had done him no good whatever, and instead had caused him much pain and suffering, was beard in the Supreme Court. Wellington, yesterday. His Honour Mr. Justice Heed was on the Bench. Mr. W. E. Leicester, with him Mr. T. I’. McCarthy, appeared for appellant Miller, and Mr. F. W. Ongley for respondent Millward. In the Lower Court plaintiff was awarded £23. the amount of the fees paid, plus the sum of £5 damages.
After hearing legal argument liis Honour reserved ills decision.
