RELIGIOUS SERVICES. lecture on bible”truth (God Willing) [ 0.0. F. HALL, ALLEN STREET. A’ SUNDAY AT 7 P.M. Subject: “THE RELIGIOUS WORLD TO-DAY—-ITS ACTUAL CONDITION IN PERFECT ACCORD WITH BIBLE PROPHECIES ” . BIBLE PROPHECIES INDICATE: (1) THAT the time ’would come when mankind would “not endure sound doctrine,” they would "turn away their ears from the truth and be turned unto fables” (2 Tim. 4 :3-4) "the way of truth shall be evil spoken of” (2 Pet. 2:2). (2) THAT prior to Christ's return to earth “darkness would cover the earth and gross darkness the people” (Isa. 60:2) that it would be “as it was in the days of Noah” (Luke 17:26-30) at which time “all flesh had corrupted God's way upon the earth.” (Gen. 6:12). (3) CHRIST therefore questioned—- “ When the Son of Man eometh. shall He find the faith l ien pisten) on Um earth?” (Luke 18:8). and one of Christ’s missions at His second coming will be to “destroy the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.” (Isa. 25:7. Jer. 16:19). (4) THE present-day condition of the Churches of Christendom with their false and contradictory doctrines and man-made traditions perfectly meet the requirements of the foregoing prophecies. Questions invited. No collection.
