TECHNICAL COLLEGE

Display of Pupils’ Work

There was a hum of activity at the Technical College last evening, when parents and visitors were given an opportunity of seeing the pupils at work in the various departments, and of inspecting the work done by them.

There was a continual stream of visitors in and out of classrooms, and the library was filled witli an interested audience which watched one demonstration after another. Particularly interesting was the dressmaking class, and the pupils paraded in tlie library to a inarch played by the school orchestra, wearing dresses they had made themselves. There were neat print frocks, blouses and skirts, working overalls, tennis frocks, and the uniform gym. tunics, blazers and coats. The “mannequins” were loudly applauded for their work.
