Letters For First Flight By Telegraph.—l’ress Association. . Auckland, November 29. A total of 1357 letters for transit by the first flight of the Australia-Siugapore-England air-mail service, to be inaugurated at Brisbane on December 10, had been received from various parts of the Dominion at the Chief Post Office in Auckland up to 5 p.m. today. Of this figure 127-1 are for the United Kingdom and 113 for other places. The mail will close at 3 p.m. to-mor-row and will be sent to Australia by th© Monterey. The letters will reach London on December 24, a period of 24 days after leaving Auckland.
