Alleged Breach by Club Secretary By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, November 29. A breach of the conditions under license for the sale of art. union tickets of the Union Boat Club, Wanganui, was alleged by the police when Eugene Joseph Crotty, secretary of the club, appeared in the Magistrate’s Court this morning. It was stated that tickets were sold on -the street at Napier, contrary to a clause in the license. Defendant denied liability, stating that lie had instructed agents not to sell the tickets in the streets. The magistrate reserved his decision. Thomas Wilson, agent for the art union in Napier, pleaded guilty to selling tickets in the street and was fined £3.
