H.M.S.' Sussex, which brought the Duke of Gloucester on bis way to Australia, is a ship of big men. Captain Derek Schreiber, of the Hussars, the Duke's second equerry, is 6ft- 6in. Major Quill and Lieutenant Phillips, officers of the marines, are both 6ft. 2im, and among the marines there is scarcely one less than 6ft. The giant of them all is Corporal Pordage, who scales 18st. 61b., and is one of the champion athletes of the ship. Good work and complete satisfaction mean as much to us as to you.
