H.M.S.' Sussex, which brought the Duke of Gloucester on bis way to Australia, is a ship of big men. Captain Derek Schreiber, of the Hussars, the Duke's second equerry, is 6ft- 6in. Major Quill and Lieutenant Phillips, officers of the marines, are both 6ft. 2im, and among the marines there is scarcely one less than 6ft.
