NAMES REFUSED
Nazi Death Sentences (Received November 2, 9.50 p.m.) London, November 1. The Berlin correspondent of the “Daily Mall” says the Ministry of Justice has refused to name those who were sentenced to death on October 31. An official refused to say whether Baroness Vonberg was dead or alive. He explained that trials were secret only when accused were charged with betraying Germany to a foreign Power. Parents would be allowed to see a son or daughter before execution.
