YESTERDAY’S WEATHER
Cool and Changeable "The weather at Wellington yesterday was fine and warm in the morning, but the sky gradually ’clouded over, aud after mid'day the wind changed to a moderate southerly. A light shower fell about 12.30 p.in., and the rest of the afternoon was cloudy mid- cool. There were several showers in the evening. The temperature at 4 p.m. was 54.1 degrees, and tlie maximum for the day was 70.5 degrees. Fine weather with a slightly overcast sky and a moderate -southerly wind prevailed at Masterton. Fine weather ruled, in Wanganui, but night temperatures were cold. A moderate south-west wind and oveicast. threatening weather prevailed at Auckland. The weather was fine at Christchurch, with a fair amount of sunshine. The max-imum temperature was 58.1 deg. Fine weather with sunshine aild passing cloud was experienced at Dunedin. . A moderate south-west wind was blowing, anti the thermometer registered 54 degrees at midday.
