» Garrett—Catley The Catholic Chureh, Te Horo, was beautifully decorated for the marriage, which took place last Wednesday, of Vera, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Catley, Te Horo, to Clifford 11. W. Garrett, son of Mrs. N. Rodgers, Wellington. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Father Riordan. The bride, who was escorted by her father, t was attired in a frock of ivory moss crepe and angel skin lace. She wore a white embroidered tulle veil with a wreath of orange blossom and carried a bouquet of Hiles and white roses. The bridesmaids, Misses Mary aud Beatrice Catley, sisters of the bride, wore frocks of shadow pink and pale green sand crepe respectively, with hats and shoes to tone. Both carried posies of pink flowers. Mr. Harold Garrett, brother of the bridegroom, was best man, and Mr. James Catley, brother of the bride, was groomsman. The bride’s mother 1 wore a frock of navy and white marocain, with hat to match, and carried a small posy of flowers. The bride’s travelling dross was a brown swagger suit with touches' of white. A reception was afterwards held at Te Horo, some 50 guests being present.
