OVER 4800 ENTRIES

Manawatu Spring Show Dominion Special Service. Palmerston Nbrth, October 26. The total entries for the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association’s spring show, which opens next week, arc now oyer 4800. This figure is in excess of the total number of entries received for the 1932 Royal Show at Palmerston North, when 4743 entries were rceived. On Wednesday, th c secretary, Mr. 11. Kissling, travelled to the Wairarapa show at Carterton by aeroplane with Mr. E. W. Barnett, a member of the general committee. Mr. Kissling secured about 100 late entries for the stock sections. He and Mr. Bnrnett then flew on to Wellington in order to have the entries inserted in the show catalogue.
