The, “Daily Mail” says that when Princess Marina becomes Duchess of Kent she will be the fourth lady in the land following the Queen, the Princess Royal and the Duchess of York, displacing Princess Elizabeth. According to an unalterable rule at Royal weddings, the bride will promise to obey. Gold from Beddycocdiwr Mine, eight miles from Dolgelly, Wales, has been forwarded to a Arm of London jewellers and will be used for the making of Princess Marina’s wedding ring, a British official wireless message states. SEAT IN HOUSE OF LORDS London, October 25. The Duke of Kent, introduced by the Prince of Wales and the Duke of York, will take his seat in the House of Lords on November 7.
