Wellington v. Maoris

THE TEAMS FOR TO-DAY

The Rugby season hi Wellington will be drawn to a close to-day, when the New Zealand .Maori representatives will play the last match of their tour against a Wellington representative fifteen. The Maori team is comprised of a number of young players who are expected to take a prominent part in the early trial matches next year, and the manager ot the team, Mr. K. Tahiwi, stated on their return from the South Island that several of them had benefited considerably by the games played on the tour. There is invariably something spectacular and un; orthodox about the play of an all-Maori fifteen, and on that account their engagement with Wellington this afternoon is sure to attract' a big attendance.
