in places. / ■ Seas rough south of Kawhia, in the Cook Strait area and south of Nugget Point; elsewhere moderate in New Zealand waters. Moderate to strong west to north-west winds an£ rather rough seas in the eastern Tasman Sea. . - ' ' Weather cloudy to overcast in most districts; sonpC rain in districts with a westerly aspect, and extending ,to eastern parts, but with little or none on the east coast and in far north of North Island.
