FOUR LINERS DUE
Maunganui This Morning Four liners, bringing passengers, mails and cargo, are due at Wellington —one this morning, two to-morrow and one on Wednesday. The Union Company’s R.M.S. Maunganui, en route from San Francisco, via Papeete and Rarotonga, has reported by wireless that she expects to arrive in the stream at 6 o’clock this morning. After pratique has been granted she will berth about 8 a.m. at No. 1 south Queen’s Wharf. The Maunganui is to leave here again at 3 p.m. to-morrow for Sydney, where she is due next Saturday morning. The Shaw-Savill liner Tainui, en route from London -and Southampton, via Kingston and the Panama Canal, is, according to her wireless report, due in the stream at 7 o’clock to-morrow morning. She will later proceed to Auckland to complete discharge of her London cargo.
The Union Company’s Marama left Sydney at 11 a.m. on Saturday for Wellington and is expected to arrive here about 6 p.m. to-morrow. She is to leave here again on Wednesday for Auckland, thence next Friday to Sydney. . •
The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rotorua, en route from London, via Suva, yesterday reported by wireless that she expects to arrive in the stream on Wednesday morning. She will leave here again later the same day for Port Chalmers, Lyttelton and Napier to discharge her London cargo.
