A LANDING MADE
Missing Canadian Airman (Received August 22, 9.55 p.m.) Montreal, August 21. The aviator Frank Dorbrandt, who was reported yesterday to have set out on a suicide mission, is now reported to have landed at a remote outpost and continued his flight to'an unknown destination. A message from Anchorage. Alaska, dated August 21, stated that Frank Dorbrandt, one of the North-west’s greatest aviation heroes, on to the air on a suicide mission, and as. he had not been re]>orted, he apparently accomplished his purpose. After telling friends that he would not see them again, he flew out toward the Gulf of Alaska, with a small supply of petrol.
