G. L. Hewitt, S.M., in the Children’s Court at Petone yesterday. For riding a motor-cycle on the Hutt Road carrying more than two persons, Herbert Allen Davenport was fined 10/- and costs by Mr. J. G. L. Hewitt, S.M., in the Petone Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
Pleading guilty to the theft of a hand mirror valued at £l/15/-, a married woman, aged 47, was convicted and orderd to come up for sentence if called upon within six months by Mr. J. G. L. Hewitt, S.M., in the Petone Magistrate’s Court yesterday. Detective W. McLennan conducted the prosecution, and Mr. C. R. Barrett appeared for accused.
