Poneke Club Meeting The Poneke Amateur Cycling Club, at a meeting on Thursday night decided upon the following programme for August: —August 4, 33-nule senior and 10$mile junior races; 11, 33-mile senior and IOJ-mile junior (open) races; 18, X--. Evans reported that arrangements were completed for the clubs social to be held on Saturday, July 28A letter of thanks is to be forwarded, to Messrs. Harraps, Ltd., for their donqtlOint was a recommendation be forwarded to the Wellington Cycling Centre that no open races be held a mon th prior, to the Palmerston JsorthWellington event, thereby allowing clubs to concentrate on club races. It was decided to hold a ladies race bn August 18 with a view to forming a women’s brunch of the club. .
