STAFF DANCE
The annual staff dance of the Valuation Department was held in the pharmacy Hall recently, and was thoroughly enjoyed by the large number of guests who attended. There were a number of novelty dances, and a special feature of the evening was an exhibition dance by Mr. Southern Colledge and his partner. An excellent savoury supper was served. Among those present were: Mr. C. J. Lovatt (Deputy Valuer-General) and Mrs. Lovatt (the latter in autumn brown lace), Mr. and Mrs. T. Brook (black crepe satin), Mr. and Mrs. Hur; ley (green lace), Mr. and Mrs. Taylor (pink and white brocade), Mi; ami Mrs. Lamb (black satin with pink, fur trimming)/ Mr. and Mrs. J. Smith (midnight blue crinkle crepe), Mr. and Mrs. R. Lamason (white satin), Mis. Binning (black panne velvet), Mrs. Lockwood (white silk velvet, with fir trimming) ; Misses E. Thurston (black ring velvet and silver coatee), M. Woodcock (black lace and pink marietta), Willis (delphinium blue si'.k velvet), Matheson (green windswept satin and lace), Oxspring (ivory satin and red coatee), N. Woodcock (black velvet with pink coatee), Marriner (red georgette), Toms (white silk velvet), B. McClellan (red lace), Priggen (pink lace), Wilkinson ‘(orange silk ,velvet), Brierley (black satin), Carr (black georgette), Pearce (yellow satin),; Chambers (green crinkle crepe)/gcolard (red satin), Lord (gold sandal crepe, and gold sequin trimmings), M. Lord (green elephant crepe) ; Messrs. Stokes, Carr, Christie, Hawken, Crosbie, A. George, R. Miller, Spiers, B. Woodcock,. M. Darling, A. MacArthur, Perkins, Edwards, Palmer, Lowry, Eton, Southwood, Henderson, Dryden, Glenn, Wheeler (2), Simpson, Dollamore, and many others.
