ROAD IMPROVEMENT
Work for Seventy Men By Telegraph.—Press Association. • .. .. Gisborne, July 19. Under the co-operative contract system a numtar of married unemployed men will be engaged for. the next ten months on Improvements to a 3J-miles. section of the Gisborne-Tiniroto Road, an alternative route from Gisborne to Wairoa. Thirty men will start work on Monday, and the number will be increased later to 70.
