Dull and Misty in Wellington

Dull and misty weather conditions prevailed at Wellington yesterday. A southerly wind freshened in the afternoon and the temperature became colder. At 4 p.m. the temperature was 49.2 degrees and the maximum during the day was 53.5. The weather at Palmerston North was cold aud overcast, with showers of rain.

Almost incessant rain continued throughout the day at Masterton. The conditions remained comparatively mild. Misty rain fell in Wanganui. Atmospheric conditions were mild. „
