During the course of argument before the Full Court in Wellington yesterday, in which the claim of a quartz miner for compensation arising out ot an accident in a mine-cage at Waihi came under consideration, Mr. P. JO'Regan mentioned the difficulties arising through piecemeal addition to mining law without reference to what had been legislated previously. “It would lx: well if our legislators had the assistance of more of our profession when amending the law,” Mr. O'Regun said. ■ "More thau half of the work before this court is interpreting Statutes,” commented Mr. Justice Reed.
