TO-DAY’S WEATHER FORECAST.
Meteorological Office, Wellington, Wednesday, June 20, 1934. al 4 p.m. An extensive depression still covers New Zealand, with its centre near Cape Maria Van Diemen, while anti-cyclones arc located to the eastward and over the western Tasman Sea. Forecast: Moderate to strong winds generally, and of gale force ou parts of the east coast north-of Akaroa; southerly winds prevailing south of New 1 lymouth and Napier: elsewhere north-easterly, but southerlies soon becoming general. Seas rather rough to rough generally in New Zealand waters. Moderate to strong southerly winds and rough seas in the eastern Tasman Sea. Weather still dull and unsettled, with much mist or fog in places; further rain in most districts, but conditions gradually' improving in western parts. Cold temperatures.
