RACIAL FEELING
South Africa’s Future "There has always been a sub-current of feeling between the British and the Boers of South Africa, and t'he merging of the Nationalist and South African parties should do a great deal to bring about full understanding between the two races,” remarked Air. G. Crossman, director of the Union Produce Mart, Ltd., Durban, in an interview in Wellington yesterday with “The Dominion.” The announcement of th e formation of the Coalition Government was made in a cablegram published recently. Air. Crossman said that the two parties const'ituted practically ' the whole of tlie South African Parliament, in which there were only two Labour members. He considered tlie move would be a very important factor in South Africa’s future. The nation had great possibilities, hut. it was only witli tlie elimination of the national factions within the State, with particular concentration on the younger generations, that, these could be developed further.
