Mrs. E. Cameron, Lowry : ay, is visiting Dunedin. Mrs. L. Barber, Masterton, is visiting Christchurch. ’ Miss Betty Priestley, of Wellington, is visiting Mrs. L. W. Kitchen, Pahiatua. Mrs. J. Hutton and family, Pahiatua, are spending a holiday at Lower Hutt. • Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Kilsby, of Featherston, are on a visit to Wellington. Miss Anne Morrell, Dunedin, is spending a fortnight at Lower Hutt. Mrs. Ralph Beetham, Masterton, is staying at the Midland Hotel. Mrs. W. MeA. Duncan, Ruanui, is visiting Wanganui for race week. Mrs. H. S. Irvine, of Wadestown, returned yesterday by the Wanganella from a two months’ visit to Sydney. Mrs. Malcolm Miller, Kelburn, is the guest of her mother, Mrs. Edgar Jones, Otiritiri; Timaru. Miss Elsie Oddie, Wellington Girls’ College, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Oddie, Timaru. Mrs. Giblin, Wanganui, has arrived to stay with her sister, Mrs. A. L. Hempton, Hobson Crescent. Miss E. McKay and Miss Anne McKay, Martinborough, are visiting Auckland. Mrs. E. Coleman, Masterton, who has been spending a holiday at Paraparaumu, has returned home. Mrs. Burgin and Miss Burgin are Auckland visitors to Mangaweka, the guests of the Rev. E. Burgin. Miss Sinclair, Christchurch, is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. A. Crawford, Wanganui. \ Misses Edith and Margaret Low, Masterton, and Mr. and Mrs. Davis, Wellington, were among recent guests at W’anaka Hotel, Pembroke. Mrs. Armour Matthews and her two small sons arrived In Wellington this week from South Africa. Her mother, Mrs. F. Hatherly, Wanganui, met her in Wellington. Miss Nell Brown, Martihborough, was entertained at several delightful parties and was the recipient of many charming gifts before leaving for Masterton. Miss T. O. Anstice, who is shortly to take up her duties as district nurse in that district, arrived at Lower Hutt yesterday. Miss Anstice, who has had many years’ experience as a district nurse, has just arrived from Samoa. ■ There have been a number of enjoyable parties in Wanganui to entertain Miss Darley, • who recently returned after an absence of 10 years. Mrs. D. Mason and Mrs. N. G. jYrmstrong both were hostesses at afternoon parties for her.
