Cars in Newtown Park

Sir, —May I make a protest about motor-cars being allowed to park alongside the rail on the eastern side of Newtown Park during’ the Rugby game every Saturday? It is not allowed anywhere .else. Those more unfortunate, who do not possess a car, are forced to view the game from the end of the field of play. It bicycles are not allowed in this, park, why are motor vehicles, on playing days especially? May I suggest to the powers that be that if in future parking is to be allowed it should be at the southern end, no farther north than the steps, to give other onlookers a fair chance ot viewing the game from the sideline and on level standing.—l . CORRIGENDA. May 7.
